Merry Christmas 2011!

Dear Friends and Family,

Another has come and gone

Things have gone right, things have gone wrong

But the most important things each year

are our family and friends we hold so dear.

So here's the 2011 update

This post with be well worth the wait.

Amber is known by Mrs. Smith

By all her students in sixth and fifth.

Andrew's a student up at the Y

Soon he'll be an accounting guy.

We hear from Karissa every Monday

She's serving the Lord in a place far away.

She loves Argentina with all her heart

even though it was the hard for us to part.

Alexis graduated the end of may

She moved into the dorms two miles away

She loves college life and living on her own

But is thankful she lives close to home.

Dallin traveled this summer to play his sport

He lives in the gym, owning the court.

As a student in the 11th grade

He eats a lot and drinks Gatorade.

Wesley's a sophomore at PHS

Baseball and basketball he likes best.

He's quick on his feet, athletic all around,

In the gym he's sure to be found.

Collin loves sports and loves to play
Soccer and basketball are his forte.

He plays with heart and runs real fast

With all his friends he has a blast.

Robbie and Karen are the parents of them all
They live in the gym, watching them play ball.
They love and support our family of nine

Their happy and healthy and both doing fine.

We're thankful for your friendship and the happiness it brings

We're grateful for each other and all the little things

that remind us of the Christ Child, born in a stable

We celebrate His life all year, by doing so we're able

to have the Christmas spirit all year around

Because through our Savior Jesus Christ, happiness is found.

Last year the PHS Freshman boys team won the championship...

Dallin was MVP.

This year the PHS Freshman boys team won the championship...

Wesley was MVP.

There were more fans at this game than at the varsity games this season. It was a fun game! Way to go Freshman. The future is looking bright for the program!

Basketball Season

It's basketball season so we don't have time to blog. Not that I would blog anyway, but it's nice to have an excuse :)

Karissa is helping coach the Provo High girls freshmen/sophomore basketball teams.

Alexis is on the PHS girls varsity basketball team.

Dallin is on the PHS boys JV/Varsity basketball teams.

Wesley is on the PHS boys Freshmen/Sophomore/JV/Varsity basketball teams.

Collin is on the 7th grade basketball team.

Mom and dad are at basketball games at all times, well that's what it seems like. It's a good thing the we all love basketball or else this time of the year would be very very loooong.

Maybe once basketball season is over I will blog more. Probably not, but maybe. Until then, just pretend like there are pictures of all of us playing basketball because that's all we're up to.

When Mom is Out of Town

This is what happens when mom is out of town...

We forgot to get the milk out of the milk box Monday morning. We remembered Tuesday night after dinner. This milk had been sitting on the front porch for two days, and our porch gets extremely hot. Needless to say, we dumped the milk down the sink. And yes, I had to do it when my dad wasn't home. Maybe you know this, maybe you don't, but my dad has a bad history with warm milk and him watching us dump it down the sink would have put him over the edge.

Well, life has been busy, but it usually always is.

Here's what's been happenin here at the Bosco's:

Robbie just finished coaching the season for the BYU Girls Golf Team. He was away for tournaments during the season quite frequently and is glad to be home now.

Karissa and Alexis went to the Festival of colors with Ashley and Michelle Maw.

They left home looking like that...

and came back looking like this...

The Boys have just been busy doing sports, but I don't have any pictures of them playing recently. Dallin played basketball with Pump n' Run. Wesley plays baseball for the Provo Dawgs. And Collin is playing soccer for the Rangers. Often times our family has to split up to go support them because the games happen to be at the same time, different places. But we love watching the boys doing what they love!

Mom and Dad just celebrated theor 23rd wedding anniversary. We love you guys and are so glad you were married in the temple! There is nothing better in life than the knowledge that families are forever. What a blessing it is to have the gospel in our lives and to have amazing families. Happy Anniversary! We Love you!

Alexis went to Prom in April. (read her blog for details)

Collin turned 12 on March 31st. He recieved the Priesthood and passes the sacrament now. We no longer had anyone in primary. We are growing up, and it's killing my mom ;) He had a birthday party, and that about killed me. 20 little sixth graders who all have to talk louder than each other... nuff said.

well there's a little bit of what's going on in our household. I'll try to keep updating the blog more often, but I won't make any promises because it probably won't happen. :)

Today Dallin came running in the house and told me to get the other car to go get Karissa because the car window in the van had shattered. I get into the car and drove and sure enough Karissa was on the side of the road with Sister Isom, and glass everywhere! There was no part of the window left, except for a chunk that was glued to the side of the car. Of course all this happens when my parents aren't home at the moment. I was leaving to go to a play in 20 minutes so I had to leave Karissa at home to clean the glass out of the car. Below are the pictures we took of the window, and the shaddered glass inside the car. too bad we didn't have our camera to take pictures of the glass all over the street. I'm not going to lie, it looked pretty cool!

Last week the Whitings were in town and came over for a BBQ! It was so much fun to see all of them again! We miss having them live close by and had a lot of fun! Thanks for the fun night Biolo/Whitings/Vances! :)

Dallin broke his arm

In PE Dallin was playing a game called Gator Ball. It is Soccer and tackle football. He broke both the bones in the middle of his left arm. He was taken to the hospital in an ambulance straight from school and had to get surgery that night. He had 2 plates an 12 screws put in his arm.

What's been happening...

Life has been crazy but boy are we lovin' it! We're lovin' the warm weather that was here this week and we're lovin' the sunlight! Here are a couple of things that have been happening the last couple of week, sorry it's been so long since we've posted! We're still busy running all over the place trying to get places we need to be, and we love each other more than ever!

This spring Collin will be playing soccer, Dallin is on a travel team for basketball, and Wesley will be playing baseball.

Collin received his Arrow of Life.

Kim got baptized on February 28. It was a great experience and we love Kim!

Amber, Karissa, and Alexis went to the RASCAL FLATTS CONCERT!! up in Salt Lake. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! need I say anymore?! :)

Basketball season ended. Dallin, Wesley, and Collin have all started new basketball leagues. Alexis finished her season 7-5. Dallin took first place in his league tournament. Welsey finished his season strong and lead his team. Collin also had a great season!

Dallin and Wesley both had two games yesterday. I wasn't able to go to Wesley's but Dallin's were awesome! His team dominated both games!

Christmas Morning

Christmas was awesome! We woke up at 8:15 to open presents (which was still a little early for a few of us. haha.) But we opened present then ate breakfast and just hung out all day. We went sledding later that afternoon with the Salmon's. Then that night had a good turkey dinner. Thank you mom and dad for making this Christmas so awesome! :)

Santa brought the boys a Ping Pong Table. It's a lot of fun and it's something the whole family can enjoy!

Sorry this is sideways but Collin was so excited about the present Wesley gave him he randomly jumped onto Wesley and we got it on video. It was really cute, and made us all laugh.

for Christmas Eve we usually go to Grandma and Grandpa Holts house for dinner but this year we had a brunch. It was a lot of fun visiting with all our cousins who although live close to us we don't get to see them often enough!

So the other night I looked out the window and the boys had a couple neighbor friends over and they were just sitting in a circle talking. They were all getting along and playing together nicely so I took a picture.

Only a few minutes later Collin was on top of Dallin wrestling... Oh well, it was cute while it lasted! Boys will be boys... right? :)

Collin loves playing goalie but we didn't get any pictures of him during this game.

Collin is on the U11 premiere Rangers soccer team. He played in two tournaments over the summer and took first place in the Sparta Cup and second in the Impact tournament! Way to go Rangers and good luck in your upcoming season!

Dallin's Eagle Project

For Dallin's Eagle Project we went over to Westridge Elementary and painted the curbs red and the cross walks yellow. First we had to scrape the old paint off then the next day we went and painted... needless to say we got plenty of hours! Here are some before, during, and after pictures of the project. We went to Park City over Pioneer Day weekend for the Holt family reunion. We go every year and it's so much fun to spend time with your family! Thanks for everyone who helped put this reunion together!

Karissa graduated from Provo High School on May 29, 2008. The picture above is from Seminary Graduation. In the fall she will be attending BYU and living in the dorms. Wesley graduated from Westridge Elementary on May 28, 2008 and will be attending Dixon Middle School in the fall. Way to Go!

We're all busy this time of year, so let's catch you up on what's going on!

Amber is doing Spring Semester for school but is now living at home.

Karissa just finished her track season and is now getting ready to graduate on May 29th.

Alexis just finished her first year of golf. Her favorite part was her pink golf clubs.

Dallin is in the middle of his baseball season, and loving being a teenager.

Wesley is preparing to get the Priesthood on May 29th. He is also in baseball season.

Collin is in his baseball season too and getting really good at being an annoying little brother.

Cruise to Mexico!

That's right! Our family and the Maw family drove down to San Diego and hopped on the Carnival Cruise Ship and sailed to Mexico! We had so much fun, the girls loved sitting out in the sun all day and getting a tan, while the boys loved eating ice cream 24/7. And trust me, they ate it 24/7! But we had a blast!
